Effective date
This privacy policy for Tomega (Invoice Time Estimator) takes effect on the publication date shown at the bottom of this page. Any future revisions will be linked from this same URL with a clear amendment note. You should re-read this policy whenever a substantive change is announced inside the app.
Who we are
Tomega is operated by Tomega, a small team distributing one iOS utility, Invoice Time Estimator. We have no advertising business, no analytics partners, and no separate data-broker arm. Our only obligation in handling user information is what is set out below. Email is the only support channel. We do not maintain phone or chat support.
Data we collect
Invoice Time Estimator is a single-device app. The app records the records and entries you choose to enter. This information is stored on your device using Apple's standard storage frameworks. We do not collect personal identifiers, contacts, photos, location, or browsing history. If you write to support@tomegaapp.com, the email body is what we receive — only the address you choose to send from.
How we use it
The data you enter exists so that Time Fit and the other screens can present accurate state. We don't read it. We don't run analytics on your device. We don't sell, use, or disclose user data to third parties for any purpose.
Data handling commitment
We do not sell, use, or disclose user data to third parties for any purpose. Tomega runs on your device. There is no server-side mirror of your records. The only network call the app makes is to support@tomegaapp.com when you tap the in-app feedback link, and only with content you typed.
Third-party processors
We use only the following third parties: Apple (App Store distribution and crash reports — required by iOS), Cloudflare (this static website's hosting and DNS), and Resend (transactional email for support replies, only if you initiate the conversation). We confirm these third parties provide the same or equal protection for user data as outlined in this policy.
Retention schedule
App-side records you create remain on your device until you delete them. Support email is retained for 18 months in our inbox after the conversation closes, then archived for 6 months and erased. Crash reports from Apple are available to us for 90 days. We do not retain analytics, behavioural data, or device fingerprints — none are collected.
International data transfers
Because Tomega stores your data on the device, no international transfer occurs for app records. The static website you are reading is served by Cloudflare's global edge; the underlying source files are delivered from whichever Cloudflare data centre is closest to your network.
Your GDPR rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Because Tomega stores your records on-device only, the app already gives you full access, editing, deletion, and export. For email correspondence, write to privacy@tomegaapp.com to request access or erasure of messages you sent. We respond within 30 days as required by Article 12(3).
California privacy rights
California residents have rights under the CCPA and CPRA: the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination. We do not sell, use, or disclose user data to third parties for any purpose, so the opt-out right does not apply in practice; the other rights are honoured by emailing privacy@tomegaapp.com.
Security and breach notification
We minimise data so we have very little to protect. Email is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our provider. In the unlikely event of a breach affecting personal information, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware, and notify affected users by email when their address is the only contact we have.
